Overview
COLLABOR8 (www.collabor8.me) is a transnational EU project that aims to contribute to the economic prosperity, sustainability & cultural identity of North West Europe in increasingly competitive global markets. This will be done by forming & supporting new clusters in the cultural, creative, countryside, recreation, local food, & hospitality sectors using uniqueness of place as a binding force & overcoming barriers to regional & transnational collaboration.
The Project
Develop and support sustainable business clusters in the cultural, creative, countryside, recreation, local food and hospitality sectors
Develop a transnational code of practice based on sustainability, quality and cultural identity (sense of place) as core principles for all participating enterprises
Produce and deliver training programmes for project support staff and clusters to share and transfer knowledge and values based on the code of practice
Develop marketing and promotion techniques using the COLLABOR8 approach. Introduce new technology to participating enterprises through a mobile laboratory and technical expertise
Create new products and services and set up regional and transnational trade networks
Influence policy to overcome national and sectoral barriers to regional and transnational collaboration.
