Description:
Brown trout and grayling fishing with the occasional sea trout. This beat is in a lovely wide valley with lots of water for several anglers. Like the other Carey beats it is best suited to a shorter fly rod 7-8ft, 3-4 wt. Can be prone to low flows and colour following spate. Last season 33 brownies to 10” and 33 grayling to 1lb were recorded. It will be interesting to see how this beat and the others on the Carey fish next year as there now seems to be a very good head of grayling.

Restrictions:
Fly only. All trout under 7” must be returned, no more than 2 trout to be retained per day. Please return all sea trout and grayling. Sorry, no dogs.
