Champerhaies (Beat 3) Five brown trout with one of 12" and another of 14". I love those Culm browns, butter yellow bellies and large black spots. Most took goldheads, although a few fish also rose to Parachute Adams (there were some LDOs hatching)

Downacarey Lake (Beat 41) 10.5lb carp, 5lb tench, perch 2lb 4oz, rudd 1lb 3oz and eel approaching 4lb. Great fishing.
Champerhaies (Beat 3) River cloudy and high. 1 x 6" brown trout, 1 x 8" brown trout. Both on copper john nymph.

Dartmoor Fishery (East Dart) 3 brown trout all returned. Small gold head hares ear and small black klinkhammer. Superb stretch of river. Lot of fish rising, very enjoyable. Lost loads - down to me!!!
Upper Teign Fishing Association (Beat 14) Trout came readily to dry CDC & Elk even though there was no sign of rising fish. Between 11 am and 2 pm, fished from Ten Beeches up to Fingle Mill and caught 15 browns over
7 inches, with two of 12.5 inches and several more over 11 inches.

Champerhaies (Beat 3) River still v. murky but caught 3 browns inc. 1 beauty of 14.5", took a skated para. Adams. Lost a big chub near a tree, came of the hook. Saw a Green Sandpiper on several river sections - he must like the high water more than us!
