15 AUGUST, FLY CASTING DEMONSTRATIONS AND TASTER SESSIONS - ROADFORD LAKE
A fly casting demonstration and taster sessions, including fly tying demonstrations and barbeque, run jointly by the South West Lakes Trust and the Westcountry Rivers Trust (Westcountry Angling Passport).
Demonstration of all types of fly casting, including double handed rods, by AAPGAI and FFF master Gary Champion. Demonstrations will commence at 4pm and again at 6pm, following the demonstrations there will be a chance to have a try at fly casting under the guidance of Gary or one of his team. Fly tying demonstrations, by local guru Mike Weaver, will also be taking place. Food will be available from the barbeque.
